A Shudderingly Terrifying International Horror Hit from Norway!

The world has been overrun by hitherto unknown beasts. Society has collapsed, the power is gone, cars have been abandoned on the highways, and those who remain are hiding—not only from the terrifying creatures, but from one another.

Thirteen-year-old Abdi and his five-year-old sister, Alva, are on the run. Their only hope is to make it through the forest and reach the sea. As they remember the strange events that led to the beasts’ arrival and how they came to be alone, they face an even more frightening question: Who can they trust?

With danger closing in and survival hanging by a thread, Abdi must find the courage to protect his little sister and make impossible choices in a world where nothing is safe.

Shudderingly scary, atmospheric, and deliciously original—perfect for young readers who love heart-pounding horror, survival stories, and dystopian adventures.
